Silver Oak is a devoted small scale family breeder located in beautiful Southern California. Home to Brig, one of the Top 20 Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs in 2016. We strive to produce exceptional quality Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs focusing on temperament, health, correct structure and breed type. All of our dogs have passed GSMDCA recommended health clearances: hips, elbows, shoulders, cardiac, and eyes. Our dogs are active in the show ring, and have proven themselves in working and performance events. Our Swissies are raised as part of the family, while enjoying all of the outdoor activities that California has to offer. We are members of the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club of America, Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club of the Rockies, and Golden Gate Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club.
